Avocado Brownies
Super fudgy & rich cacao flavour - add more honey or maple syrup if you like your brownies sweeter
Ingredients
1/2 cup cacao or cocoa powder
1/3 cup almond meal
1 egg
1 avocado, mashed
2 Tbsp butter, melted
½ cup dates, soaked in boiling water for 10 mins then mashed thoroughly (or blend up)
2 heaped Tbsp almond butter (or any nut butter)
2 Tbsp honey or maple syrup
½ block Lindt dark choc, chopped
1. Mix avocado with dates, stirring until smooth & little to no lumps. Then add remainder of wet ingredients, combine.
2. Add dry ingredients, combine.
3. Fold in chopped chocolate.
4. Bake @ 180 degrees for 20 mins.
