Golden Turmeric Granola
My go-to granola recipe that I have been making for yeaarrrrrssss
Ingredients
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup coconut flakes or desiccated coconut
1/2 cup seeds - sunflower, pepitas, chia seeds etc
1/2 cup nuts - almonds, cashews, walnuts etc
1/4 cup ginger powder
2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup maple syrup or raw honey
1/2 cup coconut oil
Pinch of salt
Optional: 1/2 cup dried fruit
Preheat oven to 150 degrees
Mix the dry ingredients together, except dried fruit if adding, then add all wet ingredients. Stir to combine.
Place evenly on a baking tray
Bake for 45 minutes stirring every 15 minutes - always put a timer on!
Let cool completely, then stir through your dried fruit if desired
Store in an airtight jar. Lasts around 3 months - but you’ll definitely eat it quicker than at x
